first day of lecture and there's a tcher topping mylist of horrible and irritating tchers.
scene: 3 JAN, first day of sch, during subject talk
by subject heads. it was the chemistry head's turn.
let me call her MRS X.
[flashes a stat regarding 2006 J1 promo exam for everyone to see]
MRS X: many students ask this qns - should i take chem if i am a
sub-science student? let's look at this first.
as you can see from the screen, the percentage of As scored
by students who take pure chem in sec sch is thrice of that
by students who take sub-science in sec sch. same goes for
Bs scorers. however, look at the percentage of F and U scorers.
this is the only grade whereby the sub-sci students have a higher
percentage than the pure science students. so, is the qns answered?
goodness. i was so irritated by her.
she said worse things today.
scene: first chemistry lecture at the CC
[many attended as chem is a requirement in many U courses]
MRS X: i hope you people still remember me. i am the lecturer
who flashed the stats during subject talk on wednesday.
let me begin by saying that i am really shocked. or rather,
surprised. despite me showing the stats on wed, i still have
a rather large number of sub-sci students applying for chem.
i dont wish to have any tom, dick or harry fooling around in
my chem lectures. and if you really cant do chem, pls rmb
that you cant drop any subject. you can only drop college.
those students who are joining because many U courses
require chem, pls get out. go take bio, go take phy.
chem is not your cup of tea.
damn her! she's obviously looking down on us,
sub-sci students. what the hell is the prob with
her~ f-ing bitch. but i dont care.
the more she look down on us, the more i want to take chem.
so from today onwards, i shall MUG chem!
wanying's 8th resolution for 2007:
8. do well for chem and slap MRS X in her face!
had GP and bio lectures today also.
GP is so damn tough. didnt understand the model essay
the lecturer showed us. but bio sounds interesting.
it was the only lecture that i didnt fall asleep :x
arggh. the 966 bus route is extended!
now i take 40mins instead of 30mins to reach sch~
and i'm always alone.
i walk around alone in sch before sch starts,
and i follow wanxin and yikcheong
around during breaks cos i'm alone.
but we have nothing to talk abt.
and i'm always following behind them,
listening to them talk, looking like an
cos i have nothing to add or say.
i'm like the only one in SA without a friend.
and i feel so terrible.
my OG members have their own friends from sec sch,
yikcheong has wanxin and gina.
i hate being alone! and i miss all my friends :( hais
